Colour Block BioThane® Lead

Create your own custom colour block lead! Choose the main colour then choose the colour for the handle and / or clasp end section and pop it in a note on your order or email us. Our BioThane® lead is available in sizes S/M and M/L to suit all dog sizes and are handmade in our workshop by the sea in Brighton, UK.

S/M - 16mm wide to suit toy / small / medium breeds

M/L - 19mm wide to suit medium / large / x-large breeds

Our leads are 120cm (4ft) in length with a fixed solid cast brass d-ring at the handle loop to attach poo bags or other accessories. All our leads come with solid cast brass trigger clasps as standard.

If you require a shorter, longer or wider lead we can easily accommodate this, just send us an email with your requirements.

Our mission was to design a range of practical, simple but stylish waterproof collars and leads with swimming and outdoor dog adventures in mind.

Our handmade collars and leads are made of BioThane®, a very strong rubber coated webbing that has a soft pliable leather like look and feel.  BioThane® is water resistant, mould resistant, odour resistant, anti-bacterial and easy to keep clean. The ideal material for any active pup, especially if your dog likes a swim or gets very dirty during their walks, simply wipe it clean afterwards and it will be as good as new.

BioThane® has proven durability in applications where safety, clean-ability, flexibility and strength are critical. It is a trusted brand in a variety of sports, such as equestrianism, as well as in the military and international space organisations. 

BioThane® is the brand name of the highest quality waterproof webbing that is currently available on the market. Genuine BioThane® waterproof webbing is of a higher quality, much smoother to touch, flexuous and more durable with a longer lifeline than other cheaper waterproof webbings on the market.

The material is very durable and strong with an average breaking load strength of around 340kg.
