Our grab handle lead (also known as a traffic handle) are light and strong and are left on the collar when a dog is off-lead allowing the handler to get a grip if required.
These grab leads with handle are 10" in length (not including the trigger clip) with a solid brass trigger clip and solid brass screws.
They are made with 16mm wide BioThane® and our smallest trigger clip meaning they are as light weight as we can make them so your dog will hardly feel it is there.
If you need a short lead for walking / training a tall dog you want to keep close to your side we also do a 'Short Lead' which is 50cm long and made with our 19mm wide BioThane® and a larger clip.
If you require a shorter, longer or wider lead we can easily accommodate this, just send us an email with your requirements. If you would like a highlight colour please place an order for the main colour (handle part) then message us with the colour you would like on the highlight part (closest to the clip).
Our mission was to design a range of practical, simple but stylish waterproof collars and leads with swimming and outdoor dog adventures in mind.
Our handmade collars and leads are made of BioThane®, a very strong rubber coated webbing that has a soft pliable leather like look and feel. BioThane® is water resistant, mould resistant, odour resistant, anti-bacterial and easy to keep clean. The ideal material for any active pup, especially if your dog likes a swim or gets very dirty during their walks, simply wipe it clean afterwards and it will be as good as new.
BioThane® has proven durability in applications where safety, clean-ability, flexibility and strength are critical. It is a trusted brand in a variety of sports, such as equestrianism, as well as in the military and international space organisations.
BioThane® is the brand name of the highest quality waterproof webbing that is currently available on the market. Genuine BioThane® waterproof webbing is of a higher quality, much smoother to touch, flexuous and more durable with a longer lifeline than other cheaper waterproof webbings on the market.
The material is very durable and strong with an average breaking load strength of around 340kg.
