BioThane® 12mm Skinny Lead

Our skinny 12mm wide BioThane® leads are perfect for smaller toy breeds as they are crafted from the lightest weight BioThane® available. We also have a skinny 12mm collar available. These leads are handmade in our workshop by the sea in Brighton, UK.

This lead is 120cm (4ft) in length with a fixed 12mm brass d-ring at the handle loop to attach poo bags or other accessories. All our leads come with solid brass trigger clasps as standard.

If you require a shorter or longer lead we can easily accommodate this, just send us an email with your requirements.

If you want a highlight colour then please just order the colour you want the middle section of the lead to be and email us the colour you would like for the handle and bit by the clip.

Our mission was to design a range of practical, simple but stylish waterproof collars and leads with swimming and outdoor dog adventures in mind.

Our handmade collars and leads are made of BioThane®, a very strong rubber coated webbing that has a soft pliable leather like look and feel.  BioThane® is water resistant, mould resistant, odour resistant, anti-bacterial and easy to keep clean. The ideal material for any active pup, especially if your dog likes a swim or gets very dirty during their walks, simply wipe it clean afterwards and it will be as good as new.

BioThane® has proven durability in applications where safety, clean-ability, flexibility and strength are critical. It is a trusted brand in a variety of sports, such as equestrianism, as well as in the military and international space organisations. 

BioThane® is the brand name of the highest quality waterproof webbing that is currently available on the market. Genuine BioThane® waterproof webbing is of a higher quality, much smoother to touch, flexuous and more durable with a longer lifeline than other cheaper waterproof webbings on the market.

The material is very durable and strong with an average breaking load strength of around 340kg.
